Nevis, MN - Cabin Rental

Are you looking for a beautiful cabin rental in Minnesota? Our lake home is in Nevis, MN which is about three hours NW of Minneapolis and about two hours East of Fargo. If you are looking for a vacation rental getaway, a cabin both in the woods, and on the water, you have come to the right place. If our lake home is already booked, consider the cabin next door.

Our 5 bedroom, 3 bath 3000sf lake home is on the crystal clear Lake Belle Taine, and we enjoy 400 ft of private, sandy lakeshore. Enjoy the peaceful call of the loons every morning and night, and watch the bald eagles soar...you'll see them almost every day on our pristine point!

Make sure to visit our photo gallery to see a few pictures of the custom pine furniture and basswood interior throughout our cabin, and our private, fully wooded lot, and sandy lakeshore. What better way to spend a peaceful summer night is there than sitting around a bonfire in Adirondack chairs just feet from shore listening to the call of the loon?

If you need to stay connected we have high speed wireless internet, cable TV, 100s of top DVD movies for a rainy day and for the hot summer nights, we have central A/C too.

Check out the short videos to the left. Our lake home has everything that you will need for a great family getaway. (Please note that the water level on the lake in the videos is about a foot higher than normal so our beach is actually quite a bit bigger than how it appears in the videos.)

Whether for a family summer vacation or an inspirational retreat in the winter, we would love to share our beautiful lake home in Northern Minnesota with you and your family!

Thank you for letting us stay in your incredible lake home! The kids were so busy all week swimming, fishing, building sand castles and using the paddle boat. For the adults, we enjoyed the cabin, beach, campfires, and trying to catch fish! We all had an awesome time and did not want to leave – thank you!” -The Heidgerkens

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and allowing us to enjoy God’s beautiful creation. It was so great to spend time with our children and grandchildren on this awesome property.“ -Larry W.

Thanks for renting your wonderful cabin to us. We caught fish, went boating, threw bean bags, rode bikes on the awesome trail, made campfires and played endlessly on your incredible beach. Our little toddler Sam (17 mos) had a blast as you guys had the highchair, cribs, toys- baby proofing made things so much easier for us! Thanks for showing some Californians (and some Minnesotans) how fun a trip ‘Up North’ can be!
-Dan, Melissa & Family

This week was wonderful: it was fun to explore the lake on the pontoon, sit by the campfire, swim in the lake, and fall asleep on comfortable beds, I loved morning coffee listening to the loons, watching a bald eagle and just being with nature. I work with Hospice and this week has truly been a revitalizing experience.” -Jan B. & family

Thank you for sharing your lake home with our family. It is beautiful! You are truly blessed to have such a wonderful place. It is amazing what the lake does to the soul. To sit on your dock with a cup of coffee and listen to the loons, ‘Life is good!’.” -The Morgan Family

We enjoyed your lake cottage immensely! What a gorgeous spot you have here. Our three boys fished off the dock and paddleboat and caught many fish! We will remember this trip for a long time. Thanks for sharing this piece of paradise with us!” -The Carbo Family

A poem from the Knodel family!
What a splendid place to stay -- a perfect spot to relax & play.
The woods, the water, sand & sun -- the stars above when the day is done.
The call of the loons and bald eagles too -- herons soaring into view.
A safe abode for our four little tots – immersed in nature to broaden their thoughts,
While the grown-ups all sat back and ate – played and ate and stayed up late.
A week where we could clear the mind – respite to let one’s soul unwind.
It’s true that simple things are best – for past vacations gave less rest.
So as our visit nears its end -- our heartfelt thanks we must extend,
To the O’Neills who have found – this little piece of God’s playground.
Thank you!!
